Certified Wedding and Event Planner

My name is Braden Sutton-Zickafoose, and I am your small town southern boy Certified Wedding Planner, Day of Coordinator, and Ordained Minister with a true passion for all things wedding. 2013 was a bit of a rough year for me. I was feeling stuck and wasn't sure what to do with life. After some soul-searching, I realized that I needed to make this secret passion of mine a reality. I had never spoken before about wanting to become a Wedding Planner, but deep inside, I knew I wanted to do just that. I took an online course through Penn Foster College that certified me in wedding and event planning where I finished in April of 2014. Shortly after my certification, I became an Ordained Minister through American Marriage Ministries.


Since then, I have planned, coordinated, and/or officiated over 200 weddings in six different states! I have helped with weddings as small as two people and as large as two hundred and fifty. I love what I do, and I love working with all types of couples: gay, straight, young, elderly, and everything in between.


Though I can do all types of events, my true passion is weddings. Don't worry, though; I give all the same attention to any type of event asked of me.


When selecting me as your Wedding Planner, Day of Coordinator, or Ordained Minister, I can suggest to you a baker for your cake and dessert needs, Catering, DJ/Music, Photography, Hair and Makeup, Bridal Salons, and even venues.

FULL PLANNING: This is where we have a meeting to chat about what you see for your wedding, and I bring that vision to life for you. Some couples do not have the time or want to plan their wedding, so I can do that for you. From start to finish.

PARTIAL PLANNING: If you just need a little guidance along the way or a few details done, this option might be for you. Partial planning is where you plan the majority of your big day, but I can take one or two of those items off your hands.

Regardless of which option you pick, I will make sure all details are covered. I will arrive the day of the rehearsal and, of course, the day of the event to set up, run the event, and help break down and clean up afterwards.


To be your Day of Coordinator (DOC) is much like being your planner; however, it is more of just guidance along the way and then the setting up, running the event, and breaking down afterwards. Stress is my strong suit, so I can absolutely help you with all the stresses that come with planning a wedding. With both my planning and my DOC services, I will make sure that all vendors have been picked and booked for your big day.


Officiant and Ordained Minister are basically the same thing. People just call it different things. To be your Officiant, means that I am the person responsible for legally binding you and yours to be as one. I will create a custom script that will be recited during your wedding ceremony. I will have a short questionnaire for you to fill out that I will use when creating your ceremony script.

I do have starting price points for each package offered that I use for the majority of my weddings; however, I can and will adjust pricing to match those weddings that are more of a small, intimate setting or those that are larger and may require a little more work. Maybe I need to bring in a second set of hands to help.


I tailor my pricing based on the details given upon booking your event. It really just depends on the type of Wedding or event you're having, its location, and what you're in need of.


I do it this way so that I can give you the best offer I can. I am in the business of making clients happy, and I don't believe in overcharging; however, I have been in business since 2014, so I do deserve to charge for my experience and knowledge.


Depending on the details of the wedding, I will offer you two options, and you can pick the best option that works for you. Details on that are discussed/given upon the initial conversations.
